She has led transformational initiatives across sectors, building high-trust workplaces, modernizing systems, and aligning people strategy with organizational purpose.She has served as a nonprofit CEO and Director of People & Culture, and spent a decade as an entrepreneur growing a small business into a national presence. Her career spans public and private sectors, with extensive experience in highly unionized environments. In addition to her HR expertise, Joanna is a seasoned labour relations specialist known for finding creative solutions to complex issues before they escalate. She excels at navigating organizational complexity, fostering collaboration, and leading with clarity and integrity.
